How To Do Your Makeup If You'll Be Wearing A Face Mask
Did you ever think that we would have to adjust our everyday makeup routine to fit in with wearing a mask?
Some people may think that it's unnecessary to maintain our personal appearance during these times, while others find that incorporating makeup into their routine gives them a sense of normal during these difficult times. Here are some tips to help adjust to what will be our new normal for a while.
1. Skin Care
Take the time to learn what products work for your skin type. The 3 most important things that I believe will help prevent breakouts and dry skin from wearing a mask would be an exfoliating cleanser, a regular cleanser and a moisturizer. A gentle exfoliator can go a long way, using it once in a while to refresh your skin, especially after having half of your face covered with a mask. Cleanse your face in the morning and before bed. Moisturize morning and night, using what works best for your skin, so that you don't have to deal with a peeling nose and chin from the mask!
Use your ShadowMoon - Reusable Shadow Shield to de-puff and sooth your under-eye area. Cool it in the freezer and then hold it under your eyes. Do this before your makeup routine, or at night to unwind.
2. Face Makeup
If possible, stay away from liquid foundations! Use a very thin layer of powder foundation to even your skin tone if needed. Avoid heavy makeup where the mask covers, so that you don't have to worry about clogged pores.
3. It's All About The Eyes!
The only feature we see with our mask on is our eyes! Make them pop using shimmery shades and winged eyeliner. Use your ShadowMoon - Reusable Shadow Shield to easily apply your eyeshadow and eyeliner to avoid eyeshadow fallout and messy winged liner.
Finish the look off with your favourite mascara and setting spray, and you are good to go!
